Immerse yourself in nature at Tami Lodge, where tranquility meets adventure in the heart of Costa Rica’s cloud forest. Nestled between Los Quetzales National Park and the Los Santos Forest Reserve, our spacious tented bungalows offer the perfect balance of outdoor living and hotel-style comfort.
Each bungalow features private bathrooms with hot-water showers, open views of the lush forest below, and thoughtful amenities such as towels, extra blankets, pillows, shampoo, and soap. It’s the best of both worlds—immersed in nature, yet surrounded by comfort.
To preserve the serenity of the environment, Tami Lodge operates without electricity in the rooms. At night, solar lighting guides you to your tent, with motion-sensor lights in each bathroom and a 6-hour portable lamp adding a touch of adventure to your stay.
Surrounded by forest, wildlife, and coffee plantations, Tami Lodge sits at the source of the great Savegre River. Located near Providencia de Dota, the lodge can be accessed via two scenic 4WD routes—either through Copey de Dota (20 km) or Ojo de Agua (14 km), just off the Pan-American Highway.
Built entirely with local, eco-friendly materials, the lodge blends harmoniously with its surroundings. It requires minimal resources to operate and runs on non-conventional, sustainable energy.
Tami Lodge offers two standards of tented bungalows:
• 2 Deluxe Bungalows, accessible via a short downhill walk (15–30 meters)
• 6 Standard Bungalows, two of which are accessible-friendly
For families or friends, dual bungalows with two separate tents—each with its own bathroom—are also available.
Wi-Fi and phone charging are available at the lobby, just 50 meters from the accommodations. Guests can also enjoy delicious meals at our on-site restaurant and visit the mini-market for local products.
